Luo Shugang, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress, and his delegation came to our university for investigation. Xu Dazhe, Tian Xuejun, Gu Xiaoyu, Vice-Chairmen of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress, and Li Wei, Gao Ling, members of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress, as well as more than 30 representatives from the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committees of the people's congresses of various provinces and cities across the country participated in the investigation. Guo Qing, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, Wang Jianli, Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress and Director of the Working Committee, Wang Haibo, Deputy Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Zhu Xiaowei, Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, and Zhao Xiangmo, President of our university, accompanied the investigation.

Luo Shugang and his delegation inspected the International Joint Laboratory for Cooperative Research on Low-Carbon Building Environment of the Ministry of Education in our college, and investigated the development situation of our college in terms of scientific research characteristics, achievement transformation, scientific research and other aspects in related fields.

Professor Li Angui, Director of the International Joint Laboratory for Cooperative Research on Low-Carbon Building Environment of the Ministry of Education and Dean of the School of Building Equipment Science and Engineering, introduced in detail to the inspection expert group of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress the research characteristics of the underground space focused by the laboratory, the main academic achievements obtained, the independent transformation of patents, the progress of industry-university-research cooperation and the progress of international exchanges.

The inspection expert group of the Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee of the National People's Congress affirmed the construction characteristics of the laboratory and the scientific research and innovation achievements obtained, and gave high praise. It is hoped that the laboratory construction can further base itself on the needs of major national strategies, serve the national economic construction, and make new and greater contributions in the industry and field.
