Recently, Professor Xudong Zhao, Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) and Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, visited the International Joint Laboratory for Cooperative Research on Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education to conduct on-site inspection and exchanges. Professor Angui Li, Director of the Joint Laboratory and Dean of the School of Building Services Science and Engineering, accompanied the inspection.

During the visit, Academician Xudong Zhao focused on the laboratory’s core research directions and key technological innovation achievements in the field of underground space and built environment assurance. He also conducted discussions on the transformation paths, application effects, and industrialization prospects of relevant achievements in practical engineering scenarios.
