On the afternoon of August 4th, Professor Zhiqiang Zhai from the University of Colorado (USA) visited the International Joint Laboratory for Cooperative Research on Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education for inspection and exchanges. As a member of the Laboratory’s Academic Committee, Professor Zhai’s visit aimed to conduct on-site research on the Laboratory’s latest scientific research progress and deepen cross-international academic exchange and cooperation. Professor Angui Li, Director of the Laboratory and Dean of the School of Building Services Science and Engineering, accompanied the inspection.

The two parties held in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics including research content, technological innovation in the fields of underground space environment assurance and low-carbon building transmission and distribution systems, as well as the "research-production-application" integrated innovation model for achievement transformation.
