On November 30th, Professor Li Angui, the Chinese director of the International Joint Laboratory for Low-Carbon Building Environment of the Ministry of Education, and Professor Thomas, the foreign director, along with expert teams from the Northwest Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division and the Northwest Design and Research Institute of China Construction, jointly visited Terminal 5 of Xi 'an Xianyang International Airport to conduct in-depth research and investigation on the practical application achievements of wall-mounted ventilation technology.

A team conducted a research on the application of wall-mounted ventilation columns in Terminal T5 of Xi 'an Xianyang International Airport. The on-site investigation and testing results demonstrated the remarkable effectiveness of wall-mounted ventilation technology in improving the air quality of the terminal building and energy conservation and carbon reduction. The relevant achievements have been highly praised by the Northwest Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division and the Northwest Design and Research Institute of China Construction.

The wall-attached ventilation technology of Terminal T5 of Xi 'an Xianyang International Airport was developed by Xi 'an University of Architecture and Technology, designed by China Construction Northwest Design & Research Institute, and constructed by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division. This event not only deepened the cooperative relationship among the three parties, but also facilitated the further technological transformation of the Ministry of Education's International Joint Laboratory for Low-Carbon Building Environment in the field of building environment security.
