On December 13th, Zhang Jianzhong, Chairman and Professor-level Senior Engineer of Ningxia Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., led a delegation to visit the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment under the Ministry of Education for on-site exchanges. Professor Li Angui, Director of the Laboratory and Dean of the School of Building Services Science and Engineering, accompanied the visit.
During the visit, Zhang Jianzhong and his entourage conducted an on-site investigation of the construction of the laboratory's scientific research platform, and gained a detailed understanding of the laboratory's core research directions in the field of underground space and built environment protection, breakthroughs in key technological innovations, as well as the scientific research progress achieved in serving major national and local underground engineering facilities.
At the subsequent seminar, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the engineering transformation paths, scenario application implementation, and industrialization development prospects of attached ventilation technology, low-resistance distribution systems, and environmental safety guarantee technologies for underground spaces in disaster-stricken environments, especially their promotion in the construction industry in Ningxia and across the country.
