On March 28, Professor Hou Li'an, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and from the Rocket Force University of Engineering of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, visited the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education for research and guidance. The purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the laboratory's scientific research progress, promote academic exchange and cooperation, and provide professional suggestions for the steady development of the laboratory.

Professor Li Angui, Director of the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education, together with relevant laboratory staff, extended a warm welcome to Academician Hou Li'an and accompanied him on a tour of various research areas of the laboratory. During the tour, Professor Li Angui gave a detailed introduction to the laboratory's research content, technological innovations, and achievement transformation in the field of underground space and built environment protection. Academician Hou Li'an highly praised the laboratory's existing achievements and conducted in-depth discussions with laboratory staff on the application prospects and development trends of related technologies.

Academician Hou Li'an put forward constructive suggestions for the future development direction of the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education.
