On the afternoon of February 27, a delegation led by Zhao Peng, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance, visited the Yanta Campus of our university for research and guidance. Zhao Xiangmo, President of our university, accompanied the delegation during the visit.
The delegation led by Zhao Peng visited the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education, and gained a detailed understanding of the laboratory's development history, research content, technological innovation, and the transformation of scientific research achievements.

Professor Li Angui, Director of the International Joint Laboratory of Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education and Dean of the School of Building Services Science and Engineering, extended a welcome to Zhao Peng and his delegation for their visit and guidance to the laboratory. He also briefly introduced the laboratory's research characteristics, accumulation of major achievements, independent patent transformation, progress in industry-university-research cooperation, and developments in international exchanges in the field of underground space and built environment protection.

Deputy Director Zhao Peng fully affirmed the long-term accumulation of scientific research and achievement transformation of the laboratory. He stated that the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance attaches great importance to the development of higher education. In the future, it will further optimize financial resources to create favorable conditions for the development of universities. At the same time, he expressed the hope that the International Joint Laboratory will further align its development with the major strategic needs of the country in its future construction, support the green transformation of the construction industry, and accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements to serve the local economy.
Leaders from relevant units including the Party Committee and University Office, the Office of Development Planning and Discipline Construction, the Finance Office, and the School of Building Services Science and Engineering accompanied the delegation during the inspection.
