Hosted under the theme "Intelligent Ventilation, Low-Carbon Health", the 24th National Academic Conference on Ventilation Technology was grandly held in Hengyang City, Hunan Province from October 31 to November 2, 2025. A number of members from the International Joint Research Laboratory of Low-Carbon Building Environment of the Ministry of Education and the "Underground Space Environment Guarantee" National University Huang Danian Teacher Team attended this academic gala.

Focusing on the cutting-edge scientific research achievements and engineering practices of ventilation technology, this conference set up several thematic sub-forums, including Ventilation and Low-Carbon Energy Conservation, Ventilation and Air Purification in Special Environments, Industrial Ventilation and Dust Removal, Ventilation Simulation, Detection and Evaluation Technology, and Interdisciplinary Research on Ventilation, Aerosols and Health Issues. Members of the laboratory served as hosts of thematic sub-forums, keynote speakers on the EU HVAC Association Guide Compilation, plenary speakers and parallel reporters of sub-forums respectively, sharing the latest research progress of the laboratory. Through in-depth exchanges with experts from universities, research institutes and engineering fields, the team further grasped the industry trends, which has played a positive role in promoting the construction and development of the laboratory.

This session of the conference was hosted by China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. and the China Association of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Industry Technology Innovation Alliance (CAHVAC), and co-organized by University of South China, the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Airborne Pollutant Control and Radioactive Protection in the Built Environment, and other institutions.
