On January 16, the Joint Academic Annual Conference of Shaanxi Institute of Refrigeration and 2025 Corporate Member Congress was grandly held at the Empark Grand Hotel Xi'an. Hosted by the Shaanxi Institute of Refrigeration, the event was co-organized by the International Joint Laboratory for Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education, the Xi'an International Joint Research Center for Advanced Refrigeration and Cryogenic Technology, and Sanqin Metropolis Daily.
With the theme of "Low Carbon · Intelligence · Collaboration", the conference brought together over 180 participants, including experts, scholars, industry representatives and university students from universities, research institutes and enterprises. They conducted in-depth exchanges focusing on cutting-edge technologies, industrial upgrading and scenario innovation in the refrigeration industry.
Professor Li Angui attended the conference and delivered a speech. He holds multiple key positions, namely the Chinese Director of the International Joint Laboratory for Low-Carbon Built Environment of the Ministry of Education, President of the Shaanxi Institute of Refrigeration, and Dean of the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. On behalf of the Shaanxi Institute of Refrigeration, he extended a warm welcome to all the leaders and guests present, expressed sincere gratitude for their long-term care and support for the development of the institute, and wished the conference a complete success.
The academic report session featured a rich array of highlights, with many senior industry experts and scholars delivering professional presentations.
Zhou Min, a professor-level senior engineer from China Northwest Architecture Design and Research Institute, gave a report titled Regional Energy System Planning Based on Air Conditioning Cold and Heat Sources — A Case Study of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport Phase III T5 Terminal.
Ding Feng, a professor-level senior engineer from Northwest China United Engineering Co., Ltd., shared a case study on HVAC Design of Indoor Ski Resorts.
Professor Hou Yu from Xi'an Jiaotong University presented his insights on Research Progress and Applications of Turbine Refrigeration Technology.
Professor Gao Ran from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology delivered a speech themed Low-Resistance and Low-Carbon Emission Theories and Technologies for Building Fluid Distribution.
Zhang Jun, Technical Support Director of Midea Building Technologies Shaanxi Center, gave a report entitled Midea's High-Temperature Heat Pump Solutions for Green and Low-Carbon Development to Boost Enterprise Growth.
In the afternoon session, more speakers shared wonderful reports focusing on development trends, research status and technical analysis, including Wang Xinjun, Senior Sales Manager of Danfoss Industrial Refrigeration; Tang Zhenxing, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Perfect Environment Technology Co., Ltd.; Li Jun, General Manager of Chengdu Koster Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd.; Associate Professor Liu Guoqiang from Xi'an Jiaotong University; Xu Yong, Executive Director of Zhejiang Commercial Machinery Factory Co., Ltd.; and Xu He, Product Department Manager of Nantong Bolang Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd.
The conference content covered both cutting-edge theoretical breakthroughs and industrial practical achievements, fully embodying the whole-chain collaborative innovation concept of "basic research — technological research — industrial application".
